Robert T. Ricksecker was born December 5, 1915 in Cleveland, Ohio. He enlisted in the Army on March 13, 1942 at Camp Perry. Until his records are received, the only information availble is that he was killed in action April 7, 1945 while in the area of the Batangas Peninsula in the Philippines.
The group consists of Ricksecker's officially engraved slot brooch posthumous Purple Heart and its prentation box, plus some internet research. The picture of his gravestone was graciously provided bt the Lake View Cemetery.
