Irvin Leroy Robbins was one of three brothers who served in WW2. He was born January 22, 1921. His other brothers were Ensign Daniel M. Robbins, USN, born 1915, and MM3c Greeley H. Robbins, born 1919, KIA when USS Chicago, CA-29 was sunk January 30, 1943. All were born to Charles and Laura Robbins of Armada, Nebraska. Not much is known about Irvin's service except what can be gleaned from the picture of him with the 4th Air Force patch and his shooting badge that is part of the group and is clearly seen in his photo. The photo is backed with plywood as are all photos in this 3 brothers group.
