The Gulf oil spill continues to get worse every day as the incompetence of those trying to fix it are magnified for all to see. BP is trying to stop the oil-that is admirable. BUT the only thing the US government is doing is launching criminal investigations and threatening dire consequences for those at fault. The OIL POLLUTION ACT of 1990 dictates that the President SHALL be responsible to take over in an emergency. The US government is clearly at fault for not containing the oil. That should be job 1. The President continues to dither while the Gulf Coast is destroyed. This is a disaster with Obama’s boot print all over it. He and his cabinet are totally incompetant and should be replaced with people that can deal with emergencies.
